11 Quick Tips To Make Your Christmas Easier

Christmas is certainly most wonderful times of the year, but it can also be one of the most stressful. Decorating, party planning, Christmas shopping, present wrapping... collectively, these things all take a decent amount of time out of our already busy schedules.

It doesn't have to be stressful, though. Your local lawyers at the Lake of the Ozarks are here to make your life easier with these simple but brilliant Christmas "holiday hacks." Here they are (in no particular order).

Store small ornaments in old egg cartons to keep them organized and contained.

Drape green tinsel around your Christmas tree to fill it out more.

Hang ornaments from chandeliers and other light fixtures to add holiday cheer.

Place a flat wooden board across your mantle to make it wider (and easier to decorate).

Paint old Velveeta, saran wrap, and aluminum foil boxes to turn them into long, thin gift boxes (great for jewelry or cookies).

Put cuts from pine or evergreen trees in water to make Christmassy additions to your table. Feel free to hang a few small ornaments from them!

Use burlap garlands to add a simple, rustic decor to your Christmas tree.

Place your rolls of wrapping paper in an old umbrella stand or wastebasket to keep them contained.

Use cookie cutters to turn your pancakes into Christmas masterpieces (just place cookie cutter on the griddle and pour your pancake batter into it).

Fill condiment bottles with frosting to make decorating your Christmas cookies simpler than ever before.

Turn empty chip bags inside out to create shiny silver gift bags. Don't forget to clean them off!

We hope you find these Christmas hacks helpful!

All of us at the Law Firm of Phillips, McElyea, Carpenter, & Welch, P.C. want to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a truly wonderful Christmas holiday. Be sure to take some time away from the desk to enjoy being with your family. Merry Christmas!
