Q: Where did you grow up and what is your educational background?

A: I was born and raised in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Since Kindergarten, I attended School of the Osage and earned my high school diploma. I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri and I received my Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law.


Q: What types of legal issues do you handle as a lawyer?

A: Since becoming a licensed attorney, I have handled a variety of cases through general practice.  I represent clients in various civil and criminal defense matters.  My areas of practice include divorce, child custody modification, guardianship, misdemeanor and felony defense and traffic law.  I also handle a variety of other matters including business transactions, estate planning, personal injury, probate administration, real estate matters and collections.



Brooke A. Christy was voted the BEST LAWYER AT THE LAKE in the recent Lake Media poll.


Q: Are you involved in the community, if so, what do you participate in?

A: I enjoy staying busy by being active in several organizations and attending community events.  I had the opportunity to serve as President of Lake Ozark Day Break Rotary and continue to serve as Secretary on the Executive Board.  I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce – Young Professionals at the Lake and BNI - Lake Referral Partners.  I am honored to have been elected to the Missouri Board of Governors Young Lawyers Section Council and am also actively involved in the 26th Circuit Missouri Bar Association.  I am a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and enjoy being an assistant coach for the ladies tennis team at School of the Osage High.


Q: What do you like doing in your free time?

A: The majority of my free time is spent with family and friends.  As a lake native, I love being out on the water.  I also enjoy golfing and cheering on the Missouri Tigers!
