The Lake of the Ozarks Air Show - An Exciting Event for the Entire Family

Just because the summer season is winding down, that doesn't mean that the Lake of the Ozarks stops being fun. Fall is filled with lots of great, local events. The Lake of the Ozarks Air Show


 What: The Lake of the Ozarks Air Show 
When: Saturday, September 10, 2017. (If necessary, a rain date is set for September 11.) 10:00 am – 3:30 pm  
Where: Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport – 20 Airport Drive, Camdenton, MO 65020 
Why: Excitement, entertainment, and fun for all ages! 

This annual lake area event is filled with exciting aerial displays all day long, as well as a few surprises on the ground too. You will be able to get an up-close look at many of the planes. There will also be vendor booths, food, static displays, and a kids' zone for $2 per child.

Another popular activity for children is the Ping Pong Ball Drop. Hundreds of ping pong balls are dropped onto the airfield from an airplane, and then the kids are let loose to gather as many as they can. A few of the balls are specially marked for big prizes like Big Surf Waterpark tickets. 

No coolers or outside food or beverages are allowed, but there will be plenty of delicious refreshments available: BBQ chicken, steak sandwiches, pork chops, brats, burgers, fried apple pies, ice cream bars, and more. Parking is free at Camdenton High School, with shuttles transporting spectators to the airfield from 8:00 am – 3:45 pm, or you can park onsite at the event for $10 per vehicle. Bring along a blanket or a few lawn chairs, sit back, and enjoy a day full of exciting performances.
