What Makes America Great?
There are several things that set our country apart from other nations around the globe. Here are a few of the things we believe help to make our country truly great.
Anyone Can Be Anything
What is your dream career? Do you fantasize about being a famous actor? A successful doctor? An astronaut? No matter what wild career you want, you can chase your dreams and turn them into reality when you live in America. You have the freedom to pursue the education and the career of your choice.
America Is Wonderfully Diverse
We're known as The Melting Pot for a reason. People from all walks of life and cultures come to the United States to make a place for themselves, and as a result, America's culture is by and large a mixture of countless different cultures and beliefs. This diversity is hard to come by in other areas of the globe.
You Can Chase Your Dreams
America is the land of the self-made success, of aspiring and successful entrepreneurs. It is one of the few countries in the world where anyone and everyone can turn themselves into wealthy business tycoons or overnight sensations on YouTube. Familial and social rank have little to do with financial success.
All Americans Are Treated Equally
In other countries, wealth corresponds closely with social class. In turn, social class is largely responsible for dictating how you must treat other people and how other people will treat you. While there are certainly wide variations of wealth in the United States, those with lower income are treated with the same respect and dignity as those with higher.
We Have A Fair Justice System
You can learn a great deal about a country from its justice system. Whereas other countries are often quick to deliver harsh punishment, Americans are constitutionally guaranteed their right to a fair and speedy trial, to be judged by a jury of their peers, and to be protected from cruel and unusual punishment. Americans are considered innocent until they are proven guilty, and they are always treated with respect and dignity.
