Easter events at the Lake of the Ozarks

The Lake of the Ozarks is a wonderful place to celebrate Easter and there are many events happening around our area.  The Law Offices of Phillips, McElyea, Carpenter, & Welch, P.C. want to share some details about Easter activities!


Saturday Easter events:

Versailles Area Chamber Community Easter Egg Hunt

- More than 2000 plastic eggs were stuffed with candy for children to hunt at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.

Easter Egg Hunt at New Life Church of the Nazarene

- Starting at 1:30pm, children up to 12 years old can venture on a quest to find more than 2000 candy and prize filled Easter eggs.  Children can also enjoy cotton candy, a photo booth, face painting, balloons and visits with Sparkie da Clown.

Easter Egg Hunt at Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat

- The event includes Easter Bunny visits, games, prizes, food, petting zoo, bounce houses, cupcake walk, arts and crafts vendor, and much more.

Time:  1:30pm gates open, Easter egg hunt at 3pm

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

- More than 400 filled eggs will be hidden, with a Golden Easter Egg grand prize of $1000.  Food and drink specials will be available.  Must be 21 or older.

Time:  3pm registration, 4:30pm Easter egg hunt

Christ the King Easter Services

- Christ the King Lutheran Church will hold a sunrise service at 7am, Easter celebration service at 9pm, children's Easter egg hunt at 10:30am, and a second Easter celebration service at 11am

Hope Luther Easter Services

Hope Lutheran Chapel will hold a drive-in Easter worship service at 7am with communion, followed by breakfast in the fellowship hall, Sunday school and adult Bible study at 8:435am and a worship service with communion at 10am.

"He is Risen"   Easter Pageant

- The 46th performance of "He is Risen" on the grounds of Kent Memorial Lutheran Church will feature more than 40 performers depicting the story of the Easter resurrection with music.  Free admission.
