Spooktacular Family Events This Weekend

Halloween is only two days away, and all those nights spent working on terrifying or glamorous costumes are about to pay off. Our community's kiddos are ready for another fun, spooky night of costumes and candy - and so are the best lawyers at the Lake of the Ozarks! As you plan your Halloween activities, here are some great family-friendly events to keep in mind.

Walk on the Rocks Trick-Or-Treat
Your little ones will have a blast trick-or-treating through a maze that has been set up in the Hy-Vee parking lot. Admission is $2.00 per child, and all of the money raised will benefit the Dream Factory (an organization that grants dreams to children who are critically ill). The maze will be open on October 31st from 4:00-7:00 PM. Have some great Halloween fun while supporting a great cause!

Tunnel Dam Gardens' Haunted Maze & Hayride
Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat is hosting their annual haunted hayride on October 31st and November 1st from 7:00-11:00 PM. Admission is $5 per carload, so bring the whole family for a spooky evening!

The Ha Ha Haunt at Ha Ha Tonka
If you've never seen the castle trail at Ha Ha Tonka lined with jack-o-lanterns and decked out in creepy Halloween decorations, you're missing out. Participants will walk the terrifying trail to the castle ruins, where they can make s'more, play games for prizes, do crafts, enjoy hot chocolate, and more. The best part? It's free and open to the public on October 31st from 5:00-8:00 PM. Dress in your favorite costume and head out for a night of scary Halloween fun - if you dare!

Kids' Halloween Spooktacular at Captain Ron's
Your little ghosts and goblins will have a wonderful time at Captain Ron's on October 31st from 5:00-7:00 PM. Several local businesses will be handing out treasures... Don't miss out.

Halloween Family Festival
Indian Rock Golf Club in Gravois Mills is "bringing their Halloween tournament back from the dead." The golf tournament kicks off at 11:00 AM on November 1st, and everyone playing in costume will receive a free round of golf! The children's activities will take place from 3:00-6:00 PM on the same day. Bring the whole family out for costume contests, jack-o-lantern contests, music, bonfires, and more.
